Four centres, one website — Kids Active WA!
Splotch Studio is proud to showcase the newly launched website for Kids Active, a Western Australian provider of before school care, after school care, vacation care and early learning, with four centres across the Perth metro area.
Kids Active came to us with a genuine challenge — one brand, four separate locations, and two quite different services under the same roof. Their OSHC centres at Canning Vale, Providence (Southern River) and Hillside (Forrestfield) look after children aged 4 to 12, while the Lakelands ELC provides early learning for children aged 0 to 5. Parents needed to land on the site and find their centre quickly, without wading through information about a suburb 40 minutes away.
The solution was a location-first structure. Every centre has its own dedicated page with its address, its own photography and its own enrolment link, all feeding off a central locations hub. The homepage puts the four centres front and centre, and the “Enrol Now” button opens a centre picker so a parent can go from landing page to the right enrolment form in two clicks. Those forms connect straight through to the Owna childcare management platform the team already uses, so no one had to change the way they work behind the scenes.
Beyond enrolments, the site was built to show families who Kids Active actually are. There’s a news section the team updates themselves — recent posts have celebrated an educator’s five-year journey with the service, a new community garden the children helped build, and a sister centre achieving the Meeting the National Quality Standard rating. A photo gallery, a careers page for recruitment, and a clear “our approach” section round out the picture for parents who are researching before they commit.
The result is a bright, warm and genuinely easy-to-use website that reflects the Kids Active philosophy — empowering children to take responsibility for their health, physical and emotional wellbeing — while doing the practical job of filling places across four centres.
