Great Southern Electrical Services is a family-owned electrical and industrial business based in Narrogin, Western Australia, delivering large-scale commercial, agricultural and industrial electrical solutions across the Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions.
Established by Toby Beresford in 2002, the business began in a backyard shed on Glyde Street in Narrogin and has grown one project and one relationship at a time. Today the team employs 12 skilled local tradespeople and has trained more than 20 apprentices along the way, with over 200 clients served throughout regional WA and beyond.
Their work spans large-scale solar farms, hay processing and pressing facilities, pellet mills, piggeries and agricultural facilities, meat processing works, PLC automation and control systems, and major industrial electrical installations. Great Southern Electrical operates as a single accountable contractor across the full project lifecycle, from design input through installation, commissioning and ongoing service, which suits clients running live sites who simply can’t afford downtime.
Because agricultural and industrial operations don’t run to a 9-to-5 schedule, the team stays available long after handover, supporting clients as their businesses grow. It’s an approach that has earned them decades of repeat work from producers and processors right across the region.
