Netball Skills Academy is a brand new netball training group in Western Australia, offering focused coaching in the core skills and fundamentals of the game for players aged 7 to 13.
Built around the motto Learn. Improve. Believe., the academy helps young players master the basics at the right pace, make steady gains on the court each week and develop self-belief that carries well beyond netball.
Every session centres on five key foundations: passing, footwork, catching, game sense and confidence. Players are grouped by age and stage, with the 7 to 10 group enjoying a fun, encouraging introduction to the game, while the 11 to 13 group sharpens their skills with faster passing, positional awareness and game sense to prepare for competitive netball.
Netball Skills Academy also partners with local schools to deliver tailored sessions for students, along with school holiday programs for young players keen to keep building their skills.
